My Apartment

Here's a video tour of my apartment! I said in the narration that the cat's name is Vasha--I can't remember his exact name, but it's something like that. Enjoy!

  1. Bethany,
Thanks for the tour! I'm having some study abroad nostalgia now for Russia - it looks like the soviet architecture and formica I remember so fondly. :)

  3. Your apartment looks great!!!! I can't believe you have TONS of hot water. I never was guaranteed ANY water. ;) Glad you're moved in and feeling happy about your new place. Doesn't washing clothes by hand suck? :)

Have you adopted the new kitty? It's cute! Miss you!

  4. I'm glad to see that you, too, have adopted the bucket. I personally use Surf instead of Tide. Happy washing.

  6. Thanks for the tour. You've got a great space! Very homey, with room to have people over. Ah, handwashing. Takes forever...

  7. Hi Bethany! Enjoyed the video tour of your apartment and am now inspired to do the same for my house in Indonesia! Except that my camera is broken and who knows when I'll get a new one... Your place looks like you have lots of basic amenities including a stove/oven, bathtub and living room furniture. My place is very bare bones. Hopefully you'll be able to see a video of it someday :-).

  9. Hi Bethany! Your apartment looks very comfortable! I was surprised to read that you were in Istanbul in August. I did not know that you were stopping there on the way to Tajikistan. My son has been teaching a couple of weeks now in Istanbul and has recently settled into an apartment as well. The info you have shared about Tajikistan is very interesting...a country I knew little about! Mary Lynn Gillin
